The purpose of the City of Grant website is to communicate information about the Grant
government, services, and community. This information includes, but is not limited to:
- City documents, such as ordinances and resolutions
- Records of governmental activities, such as minutes of city official meetings
- Schedules and announcements fo city meetings and activities
- Contact information for city officials, employees, and contractors
- Information about city services, applications, and forms
- Items of interest to the Grant community
The City of Grant website may provide links to
websites outside the City of Grant website that also serve this purpose. The City of
Grant is not responsible for and does not endorse the information on
any linked website unless the City of Grant website states otherwise.
The following criteria will be used to evaluate requests for links on the City of Grant
Website. If a particular request does not meet this criteria, the City Webmaster will
decide whether to approve the request. The City Webmaster will approve the
requested website link if it serves the general purpose of the City of Grant Website.
The City of Grant website will provide links to websites for:
- Governmental and educational institutions
- Organizations with some relationship to the City (including but not limited
to: organizations contracting with the City, organizations sponsoring City activities or programs, and organizations participating in City activities or programs)
- Generally recognized community organizations providing information about educational, cultureal, sporting, or other general interest activities in the City
The City's Website will not provide links to websites for:
- Candidates for local, state, or federal offices
- Political organizations or other organizations advocating a position on a local, state, or federal issues
- Corporate or other for-profit organizations unless they fit the criteria stated above
- Individual or personal home pages
