WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA

                                        ORDINANCE 2000-89

  An Ordinance pertaining to the location of feedlots within the City of Grant and repealing a portion of Section 730.02 of Ordinance
                                             No. 50.

The City Council and City of Grant ordains as follows:

            Section 1: Background:

            A. On December 7, 1982 the Town Board of Supervisors of the Town of Grant adopted Ordinance No. 50, generally known
as the zoning code for the City of Grant.

            B. In the spring of 2000 an issue arose as to Section 730.02 (4) of that zoning code.  It was the collective memory of all City
Council members, staff members and those who were in attendance at the meeting that this section has never been enforced against
anyone and that it seemed to be unnecessary to the City of Grant.

      C. The purpose of this ordinance is to repeal Section 730.02 )4) from Ordinance No. 50.

      Section No. 2: That Section 730.02 (4) of Ordinance No. 50 is hereby repealed.

      Section No. 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication according to law
dated this 2nd day of May, 2000.
